Traditional Indian Furniture is made from Indian Rosewood or Sheesham hardwood, which
is amongst the strongest woods in the world. In India, it is not unusual for a treasured item
of furniture to be passed down through four generations or more.
Indian furniture is hand-crafted from durable hardwood and lovingly brought to a fine
quality finish by prolonged hand waxing and polishing. This gives each piece of furniture
its unique wood colouring of light and dark, 2 tone shades. Because of the exceptional
variation in grain colour, it tones in beautifully with other decor, dark or light wooden
furniture.
